NAE 2023
RDV April 14 15 and 16 at the Palais des expositions de Nice
The 2023 edition of the contemporary art fair Nice art expo was particularly human, gentle, benevolent.
It was rich in artistic encounters, first of all with personal favourites for Ludovic Aimé, and his universe as fantastic as it is subtle.
But also the young Estelle Yvon, whose maturity and strength are remarkable, and in whose company we shared the poster with Banksy and Basquiat for this edition!
This edition allowed the discovery of Laurène Mille, a young cabinetmaker who was part of the young talent competition organised by the Salon, with perhaps the creation of a joint piece in prospect for the next edition!
As far as attendance is concerned, the numerous activities staggered throughout the day attracted many visitors and families.
And finally, the long-awaited annual meeting with the public and the presentation of this new series of works created again in collaboration with 720 degrés was a real success.
Broken, my first large format truly elicited an avalanche of compliments stopping the gaze of many spectators in their tracks.
The Diddley boo created in collaboration with Syro instruments aroused an interest, a very particular curiosity, numerous requests for explanations, demonstrations and even trials allowed for amusing exchanges.
They were able to confirm the interest of my atypical approach to creation, i.e. mixing different artistic approaches and points of view such as woodwork, painting, sculpture and music to create an object combining the approaches in synergy to support the meaning of the work in order to make it even more complete and powerful.
It was also an opportunity to make a few sales and to glimpse even wider prospects for the coming year...
A big thank you to the organising team and volunteers for their professionalism and kindness.
