Despite the global climate, its gigantism and high quality are on a scale that appeals to buyers predominantly from the continent.

Who would have thought that Art Basel Miami Beach would become the number one fair on the American continent? When this transatlantic version of the mother fair in Basel was established in 2002, the situation was far less prosperous. Miami hardly experienced the art scene for more than a week each year. Since then, things have changed significantly. And it was a wonderful opportunity for me to take part in it.
